Description | Formononetin 7-(6''-malonylglucoside) belongs to the class of organic compounds known as isoflavonoid o-glycosides. These are o-glycosylated derivatives of isoflavonoids, which are natural products derived from 3-phenylchromen-4-one. Formononetin 7-(6''-malonylglucoside) has been detected, but not quantified in, several different foods, such as herbs and spices, black tea, chickpeas (Cicer arietinum), herbal tea, and red tea. This could make formononetin 7-(6''-malonylglucoside) a potential biomarker for the consumption of these foods. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on Formononetin 7-(6''-malonylglucoside). |
