Chemical Information
FooDB NameGraveobioside A
DescriptionGraveobioside A belongs to the class of organic compounds known as flavonoid-3-o-glycosides. These are phenolic compounds containing a flavonoid moiety which is O-glycosidically linked to carbohydrate moiety at the C3-position. Graveobioside A has been detected, but not quantified in, a few different foods, such as green vegetables, herbs and spices, and wild celeries (Apium graveolens). This could make graveobioside a a potential biomarker for the consumption of these foods. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on Graveobioside A.
