Hex-trans-2-en-1-ol is soluble (in water) and an extremely weak acidic compound (based on its pKa). Hex-trans-2-en-1-ol is a fresh, fruity, and green tasting compound and can be found in a number of food items such as tea, pulses, sweet orange, and fruits, which makes hex-trans-2-en-1-oll a potential biomarker for the consumption of these food products.</description>
