Moderate-to-severe diarrhea of all causes occurs less often in infants whose milk contains high levels of total 2-linked fucosyloligosaccharides as a percent of milk oligosaccharide. Calicivirus diarrhea occurs less often in infants whose mother's milk contains high levels of fucosyloligosaccharides.
